The Farmery is currently in the development stage and will soon be constructing the first prototyping of the Farmery.

The Farmery seeks to innovate the growing and retailing of locally grown food, so that small farming will be able to compete with with large, industrial farms while maintaining environmentally friendly agricultural practices. This innovation is possible because of the Farmery's place at the intersection of trends in shipping container construction, locally grown food, organic food, high fuel prices, and vertical farming. The Farmery is dedicated to providing consumers with aunique shopping experience coupled with innovative, environmentally friendly growing methods. The Farmery hopes to expand to not only become a profitable operation for the company, but also become a venue where small, local producers can become profitable as well.

Ben Greene, Founder/Initial Chief Executive Office

Ben is the founder of the Farmery. As the initial CEO, he leads the team in creating the vision of the Farmery and executing plans to ensure the Farmery's success. Ben was raised on an organic farm and worked in a hydroponic store while pursuing his Master's of Industrial Design at North Carolina State University. He is a veteran of Iraq and received his Master's of Industrial Design at North Carolina State University where he designed the Farmery as part of his thesis.
